The cPanel User Interface

BasicscPanel Webhosting

The cPanel user interface serves as the central hub for managing your hosting account, providing access to essential tools and settings. The Tools page is the default home screen where you can easily manage various aspects of your hosting environment.

The cPanel interface consists of the following sections:

Main Menu and Navigation Bar

The main menu is located on the left side of the page and allows you to quickly navigate back to the Tools page from any part of the interface. You can also access features like the WP Toolkit, which makes installing and managing WordPress on your website simple and efficient.

The navigation bar appears in the top-right corner of the page when opening any of the interfaces. The navigation bar includes your account information, the search bar and these setting options:

  • Use the Search Bar to quickly find the settings or tools you need.
  • If you see a red dot on the notifications bell icon, it means there’s a message, warning, or error regarding your account. Click the icon to view them.
  • In the Password & Security menu, you can change your password.
  • In the Change Language menu, you can choose the language of your cPanel account.
  • In the Contact Information section, you can set your notification preferences and add email addresses for account alerts.
  • In the Reset Page Settings section, you can reset the layout and settings to their default state.
  • If you click on the Log out icon, you can log out of our cPanel account.

In the middle of the cPanel interface, the Tools feature lists all the available settings organized into groups where you can modify things: Email, Files, Databases, Domains, Metrics, Security, Software, Advanced, Settings. You can customize the order of the groups by clicking and dragging them to any position.

This section displays key information about your cPanel account, including:
